Nick Diana, I eat Locally's founder, presented the proceeds check to Marty Chapman, THP's executive director.

THP was the first nonprofit agency designated to recieve 30% of gift certificate sales through I eat Locally.com.

The idea behind I eat Locally is that if you are going to dine out, you might as well get a great discount and help support a community-based initiative. 

Each month a different community nonprofit organization benefits from gift certidicate sales. During the month of November 2009, I eat Locally donated 30% of gift certificate sales to The Housing Partnership.
